The USDA National Resource Conservation Service used Emergency Watershed Protection program funds to remediate areas damaged by Hurricanes Frances and Ivan. This site on the French Broad River used 1214 lineal feet of 12" Filtrexx Filtersoxx as streambank stabilization in conjunction with grass seeds and dead and live stakes. Shaun Lynch of Brooks and Medlock was the civil engineer for this project. Click here to read the testimonial from NRCSs Bob Twomey about this project.
